| Fabregas Celebrate Goal against Italy |
After going through a tight match, finally Spain and Italy share points in the opening meeting of the Group C match with a 1-1 draw result.
Battle between Spain and Italy are the most anticipated meetings since the group stage of UEFA EURO 2012. The entry of substitute Antonio Di Natale gave hope that a victory for Cesare Prandelli ahead 61 minutes before Cesc Fàbregas equalized.
Played for his 84th for the Azzurri, Andrea Pirlo nearly opened the scoring with a free kick which flew low past the wall of Spain, but Casillas managed to overcome them.
Mario Balotelli failed to take advantage of a Sergio Ramos blunder. This makes it immediately replaced by Di Natale who promptly replied with a goal. But the victory of Italy finally disappeared after Fabregas equalized.
